Cotton Blossoms

The below pictures are of Cotton Blossoms.  The area of Texas in which my Grandfather resides received 12″ of rain before Hurricane Ike came ashore in Galveston.  The rain caused the cotton to bloom, again, and there were at least 15 different types of wildflowers growing. It looked like spring except that the cotton was both blooming and was nearly ready for harvest. I have more photos to upload of the cotton, other crops nearly ready for harvest, and the wildflowers.
